Sun Tzu was born as the son of a noble Chinese family. He lived between about 534 B.C. and about 453 B.C. and obviously reached what was a high age for that time.

Around 500 B.C., the Chinese military philosopher and later general Sun Tzu (Master Sun) wrote his classic work "The Art of War". These Chinese wisdoms are the oldest work on strategy in human history, The book contains a total of 13 chapters and about 380 verses as well as many strategic statements which are timelessly valid and is still one of the most important works on this subject even 2,500 years later. It also formed the foundation for the formulation of cunning recommendations for action for a Chinese strategist around 1500 A.D., the so-called 36 Chinese stratagems.

In the course of his life, Sun Tzu undertook numerous successful crusades. For example, there are reports of a battle in which his 30,000 soldiers were victorious against an army ten times the size. However, there are no reports of whether Sun Tzu finally retired or whether he died a violent death.

His far Eastern strategic wisdoms, with the American application pragmatism in technology and business as well as the European innovative engineering spirit, designed the standardised methodical world language for negotiation management. The basis for Business Excellence 36.
